September 8
We had a great second week of school! We were working hard to learn the routines for math and reading workshops. The students worked to find a "bubble spot" for reading. This is a safe space where they are reading their books. Students will have a book basket filled with books on their level to read. We will begin to build our reading stamina and work to read longer!
In math we will begin adding numbers to 12 and trying to find the different combinations of numbers (i.e., all of the ways to make 10). We will being our Reading 3D testing this week. This will continue until September 24th. This is when we will test your child individually on their reading level. You will receive information on this as soon as it is all complete.

responding to the text with pictures and writing.
